Day 3 embryosను cell number + shape + fragmentation ఆధారంగా grade చేస్తారు.

Day 5 embryosను రెండు ప్రధాన భాగాల ఆధారంగా grade చేస్తారు:
- ICM (Inner Cell Mass): Babyగా మారే భాగం.
- Trophectoderm (TE): Placentaగా మారే పొర.
